Bowls - Events pg 1

September 2011 - Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th - saw the playing of the Dave 'Hook' Anderson 2 day event at the wonderful Diggers Memorial Bowls Club.

A tricky surface this - concentration, concentration!!

The weekend was run beautifully by the Diggers crew - with players from around CQ and beyond...

And the WINNERS - NRBC teams took out 1st (Bill James and team) AND 2nd (Trent Smalley and team) AND 3rd (Ben Coombes and team) - WELL DONE GUYS - you do NRBC proud.

And last, but not least, 'Grandpa' Keith Smalley's team won the $200 bonus prize.

APRIL 14th & 15th is the MENG Invitation Pairs.

MAY 13th (Mother's Day) is the Mixed Fours.

JUNE 9th is President's Day.

JULY 28th & 29th - Invitation Fours.
